SEJARAH TRIVIUM

Trivium adalah salah satu band thrash metal yang 'berani' memadukan genre thrash klasik ala metallica dengan Thrash metal yang lebih modern [New Wave Of American Heavy Metal].Band ini terbentuk pada tahun 2000 tapi dengan formasi Mat Heafy belum menjadi vocal.Nama Trivium sendiri diambil karena personilnya sekolah/kuliah di jurusan yg berbeda.Ada yg grammar,rhetoric & logic [gak taw kok jadinya bisa "trivium"].

Death Metal Kembali Bersinar.

Tiba di Bandung, perjalanan dari terminal Leuwi Panjang ke venue di Ujung Berung ternyata juga memang tidaklah dekat, belum lagi ditambah kemacetan lalu lintas di jalan yang dilalui yang tentunya lumayan bikin jenuh karena saya juga sebenarnya sudahlah tidak sabar untuk segera ikut berpesta; …..pesta death metal!

Band ekstreem metal asal kota Apel ini di gawangi oleh Fahri [gitar], Sahery [gitar], Cupred [bass], Sigit [vokal], Eko [drum].

Musik keras yang kental dengan harmonisasi ala swedish-metal adalah ciri khas mereka. Sound gitar yang agak mentah dan kasar, yang sangat mengingatkan pada Entombed atau Dismember. Tempo drumming yang baik dan terkesan megah. Sarat melodi sehingga terdengar nyaman di telinga para pencinta musik cadas. Tipikal sound Gothenburg dengan ramuan khas berbagai substansi metalik.

Sunday 09 January 2011 at 07:40 am We finally got our hands on a review copy of Glorious Times here at the HQ, and the verdict is in: much improved over version 1.0, but still a niche product, so those of you who want Death Metal History for Dummies will need to go elsewhere.

Glorious Times does a supreme job of immersing you in the culture, the music and the feel of the era without having to shape your mind with a narrative. This is both its strength and weakness. Compiled entirely of first-hand statements from musicians and writers from the era, the book lets you make up your mind and read for whatever interests you. This was I think a mature decision, because the writers recognized the niche nature of this material.
